My why I learned back in the early 80's when I lived with my parents growing up in a Boston suburb and I didn't even know it until 2017 when I decided to create my Santa Storybook concept.

What are the things you want to remember and look back on in life? What do you cherish the most? Most of us will answer with some type of "family" for an answer. What portrays family the best? The most common answer is, "pictures", however there is a small percent of us that will say storybook albums over single photos.

I grew up looking at family "photo albums", folded pages with six 4x6 pictures to each page insert. It was a sequence of photos that told a story. A collection of emotion filled images that created an heirloom. I wish I had those albums today. I wish I could see those stories.

My story began on a red and white checkered blanket on Christmas eve in 1980. I was my mother's Christmas gift on Christmas Eve. I was adopted and Christmas Eve is when I met my mother for the first time. This is where the passion stems from.
